The Surprising Benefits of Lemon

Hi Guys..

Check out this article below:

The surprising benefits of lemon! ================================
Institute of Health Sciences, 819 N. L.L.C. Charles Street Baltimore , MD 1201. This is the latest in medicine, effective for cancer!
Read carefully & you be the judge. Lemon(Citrus) is a miraculous product to kill cancer cells. It is 10,000 times stronger thanchemotherapyWhy do we not know about that? Because there are laboratories interested in making a synthetic version that will bring them huge profits. You can now help a friend in need by letting him/her know that lemon juice is beneficial in preventing the disease. Its taste is pleasant and it does not produce the horrific effects of chemotherapy. How many people will die while this closely guarded secret is kept, so as not to jeopardize the beneficial multimillionaires large corporations? As you know, the lemon tree is known for its varieties of lemons and limes. You can eat the fruit in different ways: you can eat the pulp, juice press, prepare drinks, sorbets, pastries, etc... It is credited with many virtues, but the most interesting is the effect it produces on cysts and tumors. This plant is a proven remedy against cancers of all types. Some say it is very useful in all variants of cancer. It is considered also as an anti microbialspectrum against bacterial infections and fungi, effective against internal parasites and worms, it regulates blood pressure which is too high and an antidepressant, combats stress and nervous disorders. The source of this information is fascinating: it comes from one of the largest drug manufacturers in the world, says that after more than 20 laboratory tests since 1970, the extracts revealed that: It destroys the malignant cells in 12 cancers, including colon, breast, prostate, lung and pancreas ... The compounds of this tree showed 10,000 times better than the product Adriamycin, a drug normally used chemotherapeutic in the world, slowing the growth of cancer cells. And what is even more astonishing: this type of therapy with lemon extract only destroys malignant cancer cells and it does not affect healthy cells. Institute of Health Sciences, 819 N. L.L.C. Hi Guys..

High Blood pressure is the measure of force against arteries. Do you have high blood pressure? Do you know what are common symptoms and signs of high blood pressure? This article will give you comprehensive information about common signs and symptoms of high blood pressure.

Usually people ignore high blood pressure. Even those who take medicine, only take anti hypertensive medication for short time. All About Allergies And How They Affect The Human Body

Hi Guys..

If you’ve ever tried inhaling some pollen from plants,
or eating something and finding out afterwards that
you’re covered in red blotchy spots or some other
nasty effect after you eat, then you’ve experienced
firsthand the effects of Allergies.

In common usage, an allergy is an adverse reaction
toward what is called an allergen, or specifically,
the material that causes the allergic reaction.

What Happens When You Come In Contact With An
Allergen?

When you ingest something that causes an allergic
reaction in your body, the immune system is said to be
hyperactive to this material, and with that, the
immune system activates to quash what it sees as a
threat. But it’s actually not, and is quite harmless
and garners no excess bodily reaction in other people.

Once the body’s immune system releases antibodies as a
response to the allergen, it causes the release of
histamine into the bloodstream, which is what causes
you to get teary-eyed and have a runny nose or
whatnot.

Common Allergens In People

Probably the most common source of allergic reactions
in most people is in their food. Whether its
shellfish, or mushrooms, or even something mundane
like a vegetable, allergic reactions from food are
quite common.

And if you’ve been stung by an insect and notice
excessive swelling from the locality of the bite, then
you’ve got an allergic reaction from that bite.

There are even cases of extreme allergic reactions to
bee stings, resulting in anaphylactic reactions.
Chemicals and medicine also fall into the category of
being a common source of allergic reactions.

If you’ve got to have antibiotics as prescribed by the
doctor, make sure that your body doesn’t have an
allergy to materials in your medicine.

Treatment and avoidance of allergies

Should you suspect that you’re having an allergic
reaction to something, consult your doctor so that he
or she can refer you to an allergist, which is a type
of specialization for doctors in the field of
allergies.

He or she can do the testing on your suspected
materials and verify your suspicions and prescribe
medicines or give your advice on what to do about your
reaction. But sometimes, antihistamines are not
enough, though that’s the most common medicine to
combat allergic reactions.

Sometimes you have to avoid contact with the allergen
at all costs, as enough exposure could possibly lead
to disastrous results in your body.

Make sure you know exactly what materials you are
allergic to so that you can avoid even trace
quantities of it in other things.

Avoidance is also a good method of preventive
treatment, since you won’t have allergic reactions
when you aren’t exposed to allergens.

One method of treating allergens is to give a person
immunotherapy, exposing the person with the allergy to
minute quantities of his or her allergen.

The immune system learns to cope with these materials,
developing immunity and preventing future allergic
reactions. This is particularly effective for airborne
particles, less so for food allergies, which might
cause reactions even though you’ve undergone
treatment.

Almost all people have allergies of one sort to
another, and it varies widely when it comes to what
they’re allergic to. Once you find out your allergen,
you can avoid it and prevent unpleasant reactions from
your body, or even get treatment so that you can
develop immunity and remove the allergic reaction from
your body.

Dieting and Diabetes

Hi Guys...

Very few people realize the profound effect that weight has on diabetes. Even instances of gestational diabetes are much greater in patients that are overweight than in those that are not. Type 2, or adult onset diabetes is more commonly found in overweight people than those that are within their 'ideal' weight ranges. In fact, almost 90% of those with Type 2 diabetes are overweight. If you are suffering from Type 2 diabetes, the best gift you could possibly give yourself just might be the gift of getting your weight under control.

Among those that suffer from Type 2 diabetes almost 40% have high blood pressure, which is another condition that is believed to be exacerbated by excess weight. Being overweight might also lead to a condition known as insulin resistance in which the body no longer responds to the insulin that is needed to assist the body in using sugar and glucose as fuel on a cellular level.

There are some things you can do to help yourself out if you have been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes or labeled at risk for this devastating condition. First of all, take off the pounds. I know this is much easier said than done. Dieting is never easy and rarely fun for the average person. However, if you do not begin to take drastic steps toward procuring the best possible health for yourself you may not be able to enjoy the quality of life you had planned for your golden years. Let your condition be your motivation and make plans to enjoy watching your grandchildren and great grandchildren graduate college.

Fight it standing up. Don't sit down and let Diabetes control you. Stand up and take control of your body back. This is a fight to the finish and if you let it, diabetes will be your end. If you fight it standing up, lose the weight, get out there and exercise, listen to the doctor's orders and follow them. Find the strength within you to battle this disease head on. You'll be amazed at what happens when you decide to stand up and fight for your health.

Get active. Find activities that you enjoy and get out there and do them. Don't make those activities passive activities either. Even if it's just going out to play shuffleboard everyday get out there and play. Enjoy your time in the sun. Pick flowers with the little ones. Take up golf. Do whatever it takes to get up and moving each and every day in order to remember why you want to live forever in the first place.

Watch what you eat. Garbage in, garbage out, right? You have strict dietary requirements once you've been diagnosed with diabetes. This means that you absolutely must follow your dietary restrictions. Learn to live within those limits in order to live and enjoy life to the fullest you can. The amazing thing is that there are all kinds of foods available that are friendly to those with diabetes that weren't around just a few short years ago. It is quite possible to live and eat quite nicely with diabetes if you stick to your plan. The most important thing about dieting with diabetes is that you never lose sight of how crucial it is to do so.

List Of Cancer Fighting Fruits

Hi Guys..

Today I have listed a few excellent cancer fighting Fruits... Check it out..

Avocados are rich in glutathione, a powerful antioxidant that attacks free radicals in the body by blocking intestinal absorption of certain fats. They also supply even more potassium than bananas and are a strong source of beta-carotene. Scientists believe that avocados may also be useful in treating viral hepatitis (a cause of liver cancer), as well as other sources of liver damage.

Figs apparently have a derivative of benzaldehyde. It has been reported that investigators at the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research in Tokyo say benzaldehyde is highly effective at shrinking tumors. In addition, the U.S. Department of Agriculture says figs, which contain vitamins A and C, and calcium, magnesium and potassium, may curtail appetite and improve weight-loss efforts. Fig juice is also a potent bacteria killer in test-tube studies.

Grapefruits, like oranges and other citrus fruits, contain monoterpenes, believed to help prevent cancer by sweeping carcinogens out of the body. Some studies show that grapefruit may inhibit the proliferation of breast-cancer cells in vitro. They also contains vitamin C, beta-carotene, and folic acid.

Grapes, red grapes contain bioflavonoids, powerful antioxidants that work as cancer preventives. Grapes are also a rich source of resveratrol, which inhibits the enzymes that can stimulate cancer-cell growth and suppress immune response. They also contain ellagic acid, a compound that blocks enzymes that are necessary for cancer cells–this appears to help slow the growth of tumors.

Oranges and lemons contain Iimonene which stimulates cancer-killing immune cells (lymphocytes, e.g.) that may also break down cancer-causing substances.

Papayas have vitamin C that works as an antioxidant and may also reduce absorption of cancer-causing nitrosamines from the soil or processed foods. Papaya contains folacin (also known as folic acid), which has been shown to minimize cervical dysplasia and certain cancers.

Raspberries contain many vitamins, minerals, plant compounds and antioxidants known as anthocyanins that may protect against cancer. According to a recent research study reported by Cancer Research (2001;61:6112-6119) rats fed diets of 5 percent to 10 percent black raspberries saw the number of esophageal tumors decrease by 43 percent to 62 percent. Research reported in the journal Nutrition and Cancer in May 2002 shows black raspberries may also thwart colon cancer. Black raspberries are rich in antioxidants, thought to have even more cancer-preventing properties than blueberries and strawberries.

Tomatoes contain lycopene, an antioxidant that attacks roaming oxygen molecules, known as free radicals, that are suspected of triggering cancer. It appears that the hotter the weather, the more lycopene tomatoes produce. They also have vitamin C, an antioxidant which can prevent cellular damage that leads to cancer. Watermelons, carrots, and red peppers also contain these substances, but in lesser quantities. It is concentrated by cooking tomatoes. Scientists in Israel have shown that lycopene can kill mouth cancer cells. An increased intake of lycopene has already been linked to a reduced risk of breast, prostate, pancreas and colorectal cancer. (Note: Recent studies indicate that for proper absorption, the body also needs some oil along with lycopene.

Alert: Sexually Active Women Are At Higher Risk of Breast Cancer!!!

Hi guys...

I don't think this is the best news that you wanna get today but apparently it's true!!!!

Well according to Priscilla Furth M.D Professor of Oncology and Medicine from Georgetown Lombardi, a recent study has linked Aromatase. This is an Enzyme which is present in sexually matured women. This enzyme increases the secretion of Estrogen which promotes the formation of Cancer Cells. The rate of Aromatase to be present  in a woman's breast goes in proportion with her sexual activeness.

Well, according to a group of scholars who are undertaking this study with Priscilla, the discovery of how Aromatase can interact with a woman's body to promote cancer has brought to bigger openings in aiding cancer prevention and cure.. How?? Well, with this knowledge they claim that they can create Aromatase inhibitors that will slow down its "working capacity" and thus reduce the secretion of estrogen.

As for me, i am pretty dumbfounded by this fact... So what do we do now??.. Reduce sexual activity?? Well it's up to us to ponder about this fact....

Feel free to tell me what you think... But let us keep in mind that this is just one of the many factors that lead to Breast Cancer... Basically every single one of us have to pay more attention to our breast care. After all it's one of our greatest assets right??

Aspirin Can Save A Life..

Hi Guys..

Dr. Virend Somers, is a Cardiologist from the Mayo Clinic, who is lead author of the report in the July 29, 2008 issue of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

Most heart attacks occur in the day, generally between 6 A.M. and noon, Somers said.  Having one during the night, when the heart should  be most at rest, means that something unusual happened.  Somers and his colleagues have been working for a decade to show that sleep apnea is to blame.

1.   If you take an aspirin or a baby aspirin once a day, take it at night.  The reason: Aspirin has a 24-hour "half-life"; therefore, if most heart attacks happen in the wee hours of the morning, the Aspirin would be strongest in your system.

2.  FYI, Aspirin lasts a really long time in your medicine chest for years, (when it gets old, it smells like vinegar).  Please read on.

Something that we can do to help ourselves - nice to know.
Bayer is making crystal aspirin to dissolve instantly on the tongue.
They work much faster than the tablets.
Why keep Aspirin by your bedside? It's about Heart Attacks - There are other symptoms of a heart attack, besides the pain on the left arm.  One must also be aware of an intense pain on the chin, as well  as nausea and lots of sweating; however, these symptoms  may also occur less frequently.  Note:  There may be NO pain in the chest during a heart attack.

The majority of people (about 60%) who had a heart attack during their sleep, did not wake up.  However, if it occurs, the chest pain may wake you up from your deep sleep.

If that happens, immediately dissolve two aspirins in your mouth and swallow them with a bit of water.

Afterwards:
- Call  999 and from a mobile is 112
- Say "heart attack!"
- Say that you have taken 2 Aspirins.
- Phone a neighbor or a family  member who lives very close by.
- Take a seat on a chair or sofa near the  front door, and wait for their arrival and ...
-Do NOT Lie Down!
