Step 1 towards Staying Healthy The Practical Way - DETOX Part 2 - WATER



Hi guys...

To take off from where i left... I believe that you would have read our earlier post on DETOX. If you have not please do read that 1st before reading this.. Now we have mentioned that this will be the 1st step in Staying Healthy the Practical Way but are you still wondering "WHY is this Step 1?"

Well my friends, As mentioned earlier in the earlier post, it is almost impossible to avoid Toxins from getting into our body. Now with excessive toxins built up, we feel that it is just pointless getting on any form of health regime where else these EXTREMELY Harmful guys are lurking somewhere in us waiting to strike... right? We can exercise for how ever long, eat the healthiest on the planet, take all the supplements and follow all the best ways to stay healthy BUT it still will not still end up getting you sick over time because of these little things many of us thought were negligible.. TOXINS...  That's why the 1st step to take is to find a way to overcome Toxins.. Once we have that in place, then we can focus on other aspects of staying healthy..

Today, I am going to give you the 1st, most simple Detox method - WATER.

Drinking enough water a day is an extremely good detox method. Just so you know, more than 60% of our body is made up of water. Water is essential for a lot of our body functions namely circulation, digestion, absorption, muscle function, transportation of oxygen and nutrients to all parts of the body, improves the smoothness and texture of the skin, lowering high blood pressure, maintenance of proper body temperature, lubrication of joints and MOST importantly EXCRETION of TOXINS. 

How does water work work in toxin excretion? Ok, in order to address this, 1st you need to know how much basic water you need to consume in a day. To check this, visit the link below. It's a nice simple hydration calculator that tells you how much water you need:

Now you know how much water you need. To begin a Detox process here are a few simple steps you can do:

1) Apart from essential water, drink 1 liter of extra water per day

2) From this 1 liter, drink 150 ml the as soon as you wake up from bed (before even brushing your teeth) - Some of you might find it difficult because you are not used to it but please try it out... if you feel that 150 ml is too much, start off with lesser amounts and increase gradually.. It is a simple, easy to do step that can give you a good quality life... I feel it's worth trying..Don't you?

3) Drink another 150 ml just before you go to bed (after you brush your teeth)

4) The remaining 700 ml, you can spread it all out over the whole day - REMEMBER, All this is in addition to the daily amount you need.

How long do you have to do it? I am sure this question would have crossed your mind...
The answer is simple - FOREVER.. WHY? This is because, toxins will continuously find their way into our body for the REST of OUR LIVES. For the start, try it out for a week, then gradually increase.. Once you are used to doing something, it automatically becomes a lifestyle..
