Health Benefits of Mangosteens...

Hi Guys,

Today i am going to write a little bit on a very popular fruit among asians... the MANGOSTEEN.. This simple, common fruit which have been consumed for hundreds maybe thousands of years is actually loaded with lots of health benefits... 





Now what is so good about it? Well, this wonder fruit is very high in an antioxidant called Xanthone. Apart from that, it contains Proanthocyanidins, catechins, tannins, polysaccharides, sterols, and fiber - All of these being natural chemical compounds. 

Ok, what do they do??

Scientifically, it has been recorded that these fruits maintain intestinal health, support the immune system, neutralize free radicals, help support joint and cartilage functions, and promote a healthy seasonal respiratory system. It's also said to be used for UTI's, gonorrhea, thrush, TB, menstrual disorders, cancer, osteoarthritis, dysentery, and improving mental health.

It's best results are seen in the Anti Aging process and prevention of Cancer.

What's the best form for its consumption... Well guys, anything is best when consumed in its natural form.. The fruit it self but how often do we consume them??... in cases like this, if you would have realized over this past 1 year there has been a boom in Mangosteen juice products... As for this juice, there has been a lot of hype about the wonders that it can do... It could be true to a certain extend and the rest could just be marketing gimmicks... There is no certain evidence as i have mentioned before in previous posts that different people have different reactions to anything they consume....
